Money is an unfortunate thing to need...

So I was talking with my sister Robyn, who is getting married next summer, and all of the sudden she had her first real erg to go wedding dress shopping. Normally things like that we thuroughly enjoy doing with each other. But seeing as how she lives in Toronto and I live here in Lethbridge, it makes it difficult to get together one weekend and to girly things! So I started looking at flights. Now I would only be able to go for 1 weekend (get there Friday night, fly out sometime on Sunday). However, being a poor student is making it impossible.

I would love to be able to go help my sister plan and help her de-stress through this planning period. But this money thing is a damper. Now if I was able to actually attain a part time job somewhere...ANYWHERE! here in Lethbrige, I might try to justify spending the money, however it seems impossible to get a job, no one wants to hire me. So we are a one income family with student loans and in January we will offically be 2 students with debt up the wazoo!

So hopefully I will still be able to help in one way or another from afar. In the futur when this school thing is done and over with hopefully we can spend more than just 1 weekend together!

The Start

Jared and Lyndi met in July 2007, fell for each other (well more like she convinced him it was a good idea) and were married shortly after. Some may say we are still in the honeymoon stage, but to us we feel like we have been married for much longer than reality.

We moved to Lethbridge in September, in good faith that Jared would get accepted into the UofL, and he did! Yay! He will be studiing Psycology. Lyndi is starting school tomorrow, and will be taking a Docotors office assistant course, which will hopefully open up many doors for her.

There are no solid plans for our family expansion, however Lyndi's family is looking for more cousins/niece,nephew/granchild, they will just have to practice patience.
