A Glimpse into our Holidays

Heres a little video of clips I compiled to give you a little view into our Holidays this year. This video is mostly for my brother Riley who is serving a mission right now, but you are more then welcome to watch it too!

At one point you will watch part of Hesston's Christmas concert, Hesston is standing on the top row, right on the end. Blue shirt, brown hair. Don't miss him.

Enjoy!

*If you cant see the video and would like to leave me a  comment and I will email it to you in a different format.

New Years

*Dont miss my Christmas Post below.

After we packed jammed all our christmas crap stuff into our car we headed to the great white, freezing North.

Magoo loves to get into all of Nanna Jo's and G-Lo's stuff.
My Nanni and Grandpi (Bates) came in just to visit us! Can you believe my grandpa had a triple bypass just at the end of October, he is doing great and looking great as usual.

G-Lo the fry tease. (G-Lo is short for Grandpa Logan, fyi)

Life.Saver. (the iPad, not the food)

We all spent some time playing in the snow, and earning our keep by helping G-Lo chop his firewood.
We went out to visit Ammon and Lacey (Lang) and check out their new pad and pup. Unfortunately Magoo got a fever while there and we didn't stay as long as we would have liked. On a funny note, he felt comfortable enough to strip down to his diaper and chill on their couch.

Can I just note how much I Love my Dad with my Babies. He just loves them both so much. I don't have as many pictures with him and Magoo cause they were usually outside working playing.

We visited with Ash and Tay (McClung. Taylor is my cousin) as well as Matt and Des (Kastendieck) and their cute little man.

I went to see my favourite Dentist. A much needed visit. I had a filling fall out a year ago and finally just got it refilled. I have a really hard time with fillings and trusting different dentist (I have a really hard time with change...) and I LOVE my dentist. Dr. Fairbanks. It will be a sad day when he decides to retire. Jared calls me a dentist snob... but I just can't help it. Why change a good thing!?

See they work real hard... haha

And before we headed back to the flatlands of Sasnatchewan we were sure to get some good airplane rides in... We all got/gave them but I don't personally have pictures of everyone.

This was on our way back, and I can guarantee it was NOT this peaceful for most of the trip. But I sure did enjoy the little bit of peace we did get. Thank goodness they fell asleep at the same time!!

Of course when we pulled into town, and were 10 minutes from home only to be stopped by a train.
So Painful!

I loved the time we spent in Edmonton, we packed it full of activities everyday. We had so much fun seeing movies and shopping and eating, and spending time with people we love. The two weeks of Christmas and New Years FLEW by. I was so not ready to head back to Regina, but we are here and it is good. Our Christmas stuff is packed away and I am not in the least bit sad about it. The only thing left is to work off the belly chunk I gained over the holidays...

I hope to get a video up in the next couple days. So stay tuned.

Christmas 2012

So I have been slacking to say the least. And I am about to post a bunch of pictures. Some will be from Instagram, so for those who follow me on there, sorry for the repeat....

For Christmas this year we head West to Claresholm.

In our travels the doodle pad and iPad were our lifesavers. Honestly.
Stitch loves her Grandpa, they spent lots of time together.

We had only just arrived then we packed up the kids again and headed into Colehurst to watch Hesston and Joey's Christmas Concert and to hang out with family.
Magoo LOVED the dogs and cat, too bad the feelings weren't mutual. The cat even bit him... it's luck to still be alive (the cat, not the boy) ha.

Hesston, Kendal, and Payton are so great with Stitch. We loved spending some time with them.
The wanderer. aka Uncle Dally Wally

 Christmas Dress

We loved all the time we got to spend with cousins and family!

These are Jared's Granny and Grandpa (Hamon), we love them dearly. We helped them with their garden the summer I was pregnant with Magoo and formed a wonderful relationship with them. They are so loving, we love to visit them every chance we get. He just turned 90 this past year.

Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin brought there dogs who are a little more use to kids they were great with our animal loving Magoo. Sadie (their weinhreimer dog) even let Magoo ride on her back for a bit.haha

Chirstmas Eve we all enjoyed reading the Christmas story by the fire, and singing hymns. I waited for my turn to talk to Riley. And the kids enjoyed getting into the Christmas Eve gifts and chillin with family.

Christmas morning was full of video calls to family and opening stocking and gifts. My Mom bought WAY too BIG pj pants, Robyn and Emily showed me the trick they could do... too funny! And Magoo got into opening presents a bit more this year.

Christmas Day family photo op... minus Magoo (you try to get him to sit still for a picture!). Stitch finally decided to join the gift opening party (she sleeps all morning.) Good thing Daddy had already done most of the work by the time she woke up! And Magoo spent lots of time giggling and playing with cousins.

Of course throughout the week we helped make yummy treat, and stuffed ourselves full on good food and good times. I love the family I married into and feel very fortunate to have them all in my life and my children's life!
